Last time we performed on WMPG was three years ago right after “Eternally” came out. we had intended to perform in Sept 2007 but Cruella’s breast cancer got in the way of that, so a year later we made good on the original plan. Unfortunately, this time around the broadcast was fraught with technical problems that affected the final result. Unlike last time, the soundcheck was only half an hour (I think as to not disturb the DJ of the show on before us), my tuner was freaking out (but was fine later at Geno’s so it must be some odd about the WMPG studios), and worst of all the headphone system was a wall of distortion: the vocals and keys sound like the nordic black metal band Burzum, and not in a good way. As a result, we didn’t play or sing all that great. Ok, but not up to our standards, which was a shame since we had people tuning in worldwide. Jan the host was a total sweetheart, though, and mucho fun to be interviewed by. It would have been nicer, though, had we the time to work out the bugs.
