w/ Ghosthunter, Pigboat

We had not played in Lewiston in over a year, and were a bit surprised to find they missed us! As we hung around outside the bar before our set, some fans came up to us and exclaimed “did we miss you? did we miss you?”. We assured them they had not and they were relieved. Pigboat opened and played some new tunes that were downtempo and a bit grinding (and really good!) Gosthunter closed and was nice enough to set the show up for us. That Danzing thing cannot be denied with them. As for us, our set was a bit off-kilter, not really sure why. I just don’t feel like we settled into a groove. Turout was OK – I think Portlanders are really reticent to drive to Lewiston for a show these days with the cost of gasoline and all. Still, some people we did not know came up to Cruella and told her that we were the best band they had ever seen at Pubb 33. There’s something to be said for that!
