w/Sometimes It Burns & Hi-Fivin’ White Guys
I must confess I was a tad wary of playing Lewiston again considering what happened the last time (for those of you who don’t know, just be glad you don’t), but this gig went down really well. The joint is really small, but seemed pretty full. Of course the audience watched quietly during each song and cheered afterwards like they always do, it seems that will never change, and of course since this was Lewiston almost everyone watching was someone we don’t know, so we feel we’ve expanded some minds. The crowd wasn’t totally alien, though, as members of Ocean and Covered in Bees did make the trek north. (Thanks guys!) Our new material, particularly “Seas of Blood”, went over big time and got a lot of comments. We extend a special thanks to Hi-Fivin WHite Guys who rocked the middle slot, the devastating Sometimes It Burns who set up the show and headlined, and Maine Musicians Exchange who reviewed our set.
