w/Shroud of Bereavement, Mongrel

As the soundman was giving us last minute instructions I looked out onto a sea of black clothing and realized that this show was going to be good. I guess the rest of the band felt the same way as we played the best show of our thus far short career. Staging was great. Sound was great. The crowd totally ate it up. Our new song, “Lovely Lies” got a huge reaction – you could call it a cheer. Openers Mongrel did as great job and headliners Shroud of Bereavement were brilliant as usual. Special thanks to the promoter Anderson Mar and the soundguy (whose name I didn’t catch.) Somerville Massachusetts is a long drive from Portland but we can’t wait to come back to this venue.
